Recognizing Migraine HeadachesHow You Can Help

As you may have guessed, reporting your condition honestly to your doctor is one of the most important parts of the migraine diagnosis.

Tell Your Headache Story

Now that you know some of the questions a doctor will ask, keep these questions in mind. Write down your “headache story.” Make sure that the story you write down is honest. The personal story of your headaches, including when they started and what they are like, will be very helpful to the doctor who is trying to diagnose you. Be sure to bring your story to your first doctor visit.
